Floatation Tank Helps Improve Grades

If you’re really keen to tap into the limitless potential of your unconscious mind, you’re going to want to have session in a floatation tank. In this day and age of constant interruptions, time slicing and multi-tasking, research reflects it’s having an effect on our ability for deep thinking.

The changing nature of work, study and leisure is rewiring the human brain in such a way that deep reading the concentrated pursuit of linear stories and thought – is being trained out of us.

A University Of California (San Diego) study found that the amount of information the average American processed in 2008 was triple what it was in 1960. This has turned many into pancake people – spread wide and thin.

A series of psychological studies over the past 20 years have shown that after spending time in a quiet rural setting, close to nature, people exhibit greater attentiveness, stronger memory and improved cognition (learning). Their brains become calmer and sharper.

Floatation Tank Improves Your Grades

Now it may not be quick and easy to head out to the country, but a 1-hour session in a floatation tank can do you and your grades – real wonders.

It’s inexpensive and easy to do. The feelings of weightlessness have to be experienced to be fully appreciated.

You should test various approaches to using a floatation tank as a study aid:

  • Try to study before, using the floatation tank to resolve problems, or just do a mental review of what you just studied.
  • Try to start studying before, float and then attack your hardest assignments or problems, reverse the process and see which combination works best for you.

Using a floatation tank as a pattern interrupt will stimulate your creativity and innovative thinking by tapping into the subconscious part of your brain, unleashing the Exponential Potential™ that resides within in.

All you need to do is trust the process and “release yourself from the expectation of the outcome” as Dr Deepak Chopra extols. This is not something you can force. You need to ‘let it happen’ and then marvel in its quasi-magical powers as you become the genius you always knew you could be!

  • Pllz guide me whether as a college boy who doesn’t know to study effectively and wastes a lot of time and getting bad grades in exams should buy your book.

    Plz reply me.

    • My study book has helped thousands of college and university students get past their bad study habits, reduce exam stress and get the best grades they can. It comes with an 8-week money-back guarantee. Also, it’s been translated into 4 languages by people who BOUGHT the book and thought it was so good, they had to create a foreign language edition. If that’s not enough proof for you, keep trying to pass on your own and then when you realise you need help, buy my study book.

There is nothing wrong with getting help – it will help you THIS week, with your next exam or test.

  • Dear Sir,

I would like to ask you if your ‘Get The Best Grades With the Least Amount of Effort ‘collection is available in any of the book stores in Singapore?

It is because I have neither credit cards nor pay pal can help me get this collection. It is very disappointing that my parents wouldn’t want me to the collection as they think it might not be useful to me.

However, I can afford to buy the collections by using my own savings provided that the collection is available in Singapore so that I can buy it by using cash.

Appreciate if you could reply me and let me know the alternative ways to get your collection as I’m very interested to learn from you.

    Thanks.

  • Hey Marc,

I went through all your speed reading videos today. Did the 1hr practice before looking at the other 3 videos. In 1 hr practice with my finger, I read 4 chapters, 200 pages of my Accounting textbook. I don’t know how many words/min as there was no way of counting. The finger technique worked in regards to not re-reading the same line, which I used to do before. I don’t think I was able to focus for 1hr straight when reading in the past, but with the finger technique I was able to focus.

But there is the problem, I did focus & comprehend as much as possible whilst moving my finger, but after reading for 1hr I couldn’t remember the theories I read.. I felt blank.
How do I remember what I have read when I speed read?

You said in public it won’t be a good idea to use the finger technique. So what technique can you use to speed read in public? I was thinking perhaps to train my eye to read 5 lines at once? But how do I do that?

By the way I bought A3 size papers to write chapter notes, will see if the note taking tip will work.

    • Hi Michael,
If you’re blank after speed reading – your brain just isn’t up to the task. You’re now reading TOO FAST for your brain – you need to give it time to catch up, it takes practice. Sometimes you’ll be delayed by your reading, sometimes by your thinking, depending on how alert you are and how well you practice.

Read ONE word, ONE LINE at a time – don’t start skipping/skimming lines – that does not work, that is NOT SPEED READING – that’s skimming and I don’t endorse it as a study technique.

The comment about not using your finger in public is just so you won’t be self-conscious. Once you are confident, who cares what other people think?!?!?

Keep us posted on your great speed reading habit improvements!!!!

  • Thanks Dr Marc.

I finally persuaded my friends to help me buy your collection, I have bought the book and the video, but I didn’t receive any books and just given a link to a website to watch your video.

May I know it is a real book or e-book.

I will be looking forward to your reply.

    Thanks,
    Eva

    • Hi Eva,
It is a real book, but now the latest, 3rd edition is sold as an e-book with several additional components to help you get better grades.

I am sure you will enjoy it as your grades improve – keep me posted on your progress!

      Onward and upward!
      Marc

  • Hi Dr Marc,

    Your Study guide is awesome!

First of all I would like to start with an apology. I am very very sorry for asking for a refund for study guide & speed learning video.
At the time I purchased your study guide, I had a lot of assignments due & tests in 1 week. And I got very frustrated that I wasn’t able to catch up using your techniques hence the refund.

After that week past, mid semester break came, and when I was relaxing with my mind free from stress. I finally looked at your study guide for the 2nd time. I then read it again for the 3rd time.

What I learned I liked. I was able to apply the techniques you have taught in your study guide. I caught up with my course work. And after semester break finished, I was seeing improvements & good results. I now spend less time studying, because the techniques you taught are far more efficient. One of the problems I had is not knowing how to study effectively, because we were not taught how to study at school.

And I also know how the % grading system works for my course.

And by the way, I also have your speed reading videos. And by the way, am happy to say I did not ask for refund for speed reading! I liked it very much. Although I am someone that doesn’t get it right the 1st time, I have to watch the speed reading video twice & thrice to finally get it.

I am seeing results with my speed reading. I no longer waste time reading the irrelevant topics in my textbook. I now know what to look for in my textbook & using the techniques you taught in your study guide I now know how to take effective notes. I am writing down notes on an A3 size paper &seem to recall information well by doing that method.

My exams are next month, I am now very confident that I am very likely to get A+’s. If I hadn’t looked at your study guide for the 2nd time. I think I would be feeling very in confident for the exams.

Thank you very much for your work & I sincerely apologise for getting the study guide refunded… Am very very sorry. On the bright side lucky I didn’t ask for refund for the speed reading videos 😀

    • I Peter, I am happy to hear you’re doing great in school – to be equitable and fair, you can go ahead and buy the study book again and NOT ask for the refund, that way you’ll have paid for it and you’ll put into practice one of the key principles of success – the Law Of Attraction. By doing the right thing and setting things straight, “The Universe” will come to your assistance and reward you.

It’s a concept I teach my business clients all the time and when you are “on purpose” and do things with integrity, honesty and authenticity, the whole world, “game” changes.

Thank you for your honesty and look forward to letting people know you’ve lead by example. You owe yourself that level of leadership. You’re ready for it. When you raise the bar to this level, the sky’s the limit.

Yesterday, I was at a local farmer’s market and I had an altercation with a very rude gentleman in line – the details are not relevant, but the point was that I invested about 10 minutes to teach him a lesson through a very heated exchange that others were astonished I would bother with. At the end, he said “I’m going to forget about you in 5 minutes”, in an attempt to dismiss what was going on. I replied “No you won’t. After what took place here today, it would be a shame you’d make an _____ of yourself again when you could have prevented it by approaching the situation with less animosity… Otherwise you’ll repeat the same mistake and have everyone around you think you’re a ______.”

The reason I tell you this is because there were other people in line who didn’t do anything. They just listened and observed the discussion. They too learned something. It would have been so much easier to just let it slip by.

I don’t do that BECAUSE I hold myself to a higher standard. As you do with the comment you posted.

You want others to know they shouldn’t ask for a refund. You want them to know that sometimes they just need to give themselves time.

You want to be a leader and you’re starting to act like one. Take the next step and claim it.

Don’t tell anyone you know – leaders do this with COMPLETE strangers, selflessly – NOT to get attention, but the outcome.

As Albert Einstein said “to leave the earth a better place than how you found it.”

      Onward and upward!
      Marc

  • Marc,

Are you able to provide me with your E-mail addy? I would like to attach a jpg file to show you how my notes look like on A3.

You might be able to then give me feedback as to how it can improve.

  • Hi Marc,

Hope this is the right place to post this message, as I have a ‘business’ question for you.

I’ve had a look at your ‘Get Better Grades’ website, and it looks really impressive. I’m in the process of launching my own biz, and am looking at different websites for ideas and inspiration, before I put together my own site. I just have 2 brief questions for you:

    1. Based on that website alone – how many sales have you been able to achieve in the last month? (I appreciate that your biz may have been running for quite some time, but I just thought I’d put in a timeframe to make it easier).
    2. Is there any part of the website that you changed to increase those sales? I ask this, because I’m assuming that you regularly update your pages, and I was wondering if there was a particular peak in sales when you made a particular change.

It would be great if you had a chance to respond, as I can see that it’s a great business! You’re welcome to email me outside of the forum, if that is more appropriate – my details are saradac at live dot co dot uk.

    Many thanks,

    Sarada

  • Hello Marc!

I’m a 16 year old boy from Norway. I have some questions for you, which I hope you can answer.

There are two things that have been bothering me a lot. I am not that good in English, so please excuse me if there are some mistakes in this comment. (Note – I edited a few mistakes, but not many more than most native English speakers would make!)

    1) The first question is how I can become better in Math?

Sometimes I’m doing good in this subject. Other times I’m doing bad. It is always up and down. It is weird. Sometimes I can understand a thing and do all the hard “questions”, but the next day I can end up failing on the same questions if there is a test. I feel really embarrassed. I’m going to high school soon and I’m worried about having problems.

    2) The second question is how can I improve my English? I want to talk English fluently. Like I want to learn advanced English, if you know what I mean? I’m planning to study abroad when I get older, so I have to improve my English.

    I hope you understand what I mean…

    THANKS
    Afraseyab

  • Hello Dr. Marc,

I am writing to you not about your study book and videos but about a very important lesson that I learned from the first page of the book and from your response to Peter above, and that is the lesson of integrity and honesty.

Dr. Marc, I have been using a fitness program. This program consist of 10 DVDs and it costs $104.80. I got this program from my friend who had this as a file and he transferred it to my laptop and I didn’t even have to pay a penny for it. But after reading the integrity statement in your book and your response to Peter I realized that I had been cheating myself and I have cheated the company that sells the product.

I have now decided to make a purchase of the product from the company and I thank you for teaching me the lesson.

I hope I am doing the right thing and setting things straight, and I also hope that “The Universe” will come to my assistance and reward me and you.

Also, I have bought your book and speed learning videos, I will follow your strategies in the upcoming fall, and then I will write to you about your product.

I will appreciate your comments. Thanks!

  • Hi Doc,

Either by giving me your block bank account where I only can send you money in or any other ways Pliz doctor Pliz I really need this book!

    • Deepak,
You can pay by Pay Pal, or do a direct money transfer. Our Customer Service Department will contact you with relevant details.

The easiest way to do it is to give someone you know cash and have THEM place the order with their credit card and enter YOUR details so you receive the book and all the bonuses.
