Speed reading is a MUST-HAVE skill for any serious student. It’s the difference between being a ‘bookworm’ and having a fun student lifestyle. Imagine reading 6 times faster than your classmates – what would that do to your grades?
When I was studying for my first Ph.D., I was reading 1,800 words/minute which meant that I was 6 times faster than my classmates. On a Friday night, from 7 to 10 PM I would read for 3 hours, and then watch a movie and go to bed. My classmates had to spend ALL DAY Saturday and ALL DAY SUNDAY to read what I had read on Friday night.
That meant I had the WHOLE WEEKEND to do whatever I wanted – additional study, or in my case, I was DOUBLING the SALES and TRIPLING my PROFITS while I was opening up a second branch office!
